This workshop will provide you with an opportunity to develop your skills for responding to challenging and difficult situations. Some of the topics that will be covered in this workshop include engaging and motivating hard to reach and resistant clients, suicide risk assessment and intervention, conflict management, working with clients who have personality disorders, responding to angry and potentially violent clients, understanding mental health and addictions issues, recognizing and avoiding power struggles and involuntary clients.
