MA Program in Community Development

BALTA has been working with the University of Victoria to develop a new MA program in Community Development with three streams in community economic development, co-operatives and non-profits. The program is now recruiting students. Designed with working professionals in mind, the Master of Arts in Community Development (MACD) will build and develop capacity to become a successful leader in the civil society and social economy.   The MACD is a part-time professional program delivered through a combination of online and residential courses based at the University of Victoria. Each of the three residential workshops is held over a two or three week period in the summer terms.
