WELCOME ADDRESS | HONOURABLE SHEILA MALCOMLSON, SDPRSheila MalcomlsonSheila Malcolmson was first elected as MLA for Nanaimo in 2019. She previously served as minister of Mental Health and Addictions, working to improve mental health services and address the ongoing toxic drug crisis, and as parliamentary secretary for the Environment, working to protect the environment and clean up coastal waters.Sheila was elected four times to the Islands Trust Council, serving six of those years as chair, where she championed fair ferry service, marine safety and oil spill prevention.
