Co-created by Open Door Group and Presidents Group, the Disability Inclusive Employer Self-Assessment is a new free tool to help Canadian employers become more disability inclusive. The Disability Inclusive Employer Self-Assessment helps organizations assess their current disability inclusion practices and provides a 20-page report of tangible actions and resources employers can use to improve their performance.
The self-assessment takes about 15 minutes to complete and covers leading practices in a dozen categories including Mental Health, Disability Representation, Employee Benefits, Recruitment and Digital Accessibility.
In this 1 hour webinar, Open Door Group’s CEO, Alona Puehse, and the project team will offer you a tour of the tool, a summary of the evidence-based practices that underpin the assessment and early feedback from employers.
Event accessibility: Live captioning and ASL interpretation will be provided. If you have other access needs, you will be invited to share them during registration.
Everyone! Open Door Group’s goal is to have 250 employers complete the assessment by year end and is inviting the service provider community to consider the tool for their own internal use as inclusive employers, and as a tool for staff who working with employers across BC.
