In May 2023, ASPECT turned to its members and asked for help in choosing those moments in the year that are important to its community and that it should recognize. After close to two months of voting and deliberation, over 50 days* of significance were selected by ASPECT's community.

This guide includes BC statutory holidays, which are public holidays fixed by law, as well as celebrations and observances selected by ASPECT’s community, its members. This is meant to be a living document and is by no means exhaustive.
