Frequently Asked QuestionsWho should register?
The CDP Bootcamp is designed for both new and experienced Career Development Practitioners (CDPs).
It’s ideal for those seeking a strong foundation in the field, a structured refresher of current best practices,
or professional learning hours toward CCDP certification.
Will webinars be recorded?
No. Because of the interactive and reflective nature of the live sessions — and to protect participant privacy — webinars are not recorded.
What if I miss a session?
If illness or unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending, you’ll receive complimentary registration
to attend the missed live session in the next available Bootcamp cohort.
How much time should I expect to commit each week?
Approximately 4.5 hours per week: 1.25 hours for the live webinar plus ~3 hours of self-paced readings,
exercises, and reflection activities. With the Capstone Project, add about 1.5 hours per week.
What is the Capstone Project?
The optional Capstone is an applied, reflective project that helps you integrate your learning.
It can be completed in multiple formats (paper, presentation, visual) and counts toward
30 hours of informal learning for CCDP certification.
What certificate will I receive?
Do I need to attend all five webinars?
Yes. The Bootcamp is built around live participation.
To get the most out of the program — and to support your peers in small-group discussions — you should plan to attend all five sessions.
How often does the Bootcamp run?
The Bootcamp runs three times a year (Fall, Winter, Spring).
If you can’t make the upcoming intake, you can join a later one.
