Lunch & Learn - National Certification for Career Development Professionals with Lindsay Guitard

This Lunch & Learn series is a monthly opportunity for frontline career development professionals (CDPs) to connect, share ideas, and strengthen professional practice.

This month, join Lindsay Guitard with the Nova Scotia Career Development Association who is Leading Canada's National Certification program. Lindsay has extensive experience in governance, policy development, and credentialing, and recently led the implementation of an ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system for the program. Lindsay is passionate about building fair, evidence-based certification systems that strengthen professional standards and support lifelong learning.

The National Career Development Certification program provides a consistent Canadian standard for recognizing the competencies of Career Development Professionals. This presentation outlines eligibility requirements, the assessment process, designation maintenance, and the benefits of the nationally recognized CCDP® designation in strengthening professional credibility, public trust, and lifelong learning.

This session is 45-minute session is designed to be practical, engaging, and relevant to the work happening across the sector.

Participation is free for frontline CDPs working at:

• ASPECT member organizations
• ASPECT affiliate member organizations
